Douglas LaPointe
Douglas J. LaPointe is a graduate of Florida State University (B.S. Psychology, 1990) and the Cumberland School of Law (J.D. 1993). He is a member of the Florida Bar, the U.S. Northern, Middle, and Southern District Courts of Florida and the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Trial Attorneys of America and the Defense Research Institute.

Doug practices a wide range of third-party insurance matters, including commercial and personal auto negligence, premises and products liability, as well as first-party homeowner claims. He also specializes in defending employers against discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination claims at the administrative level, as well as state and federal court litigation.
Doug serves clients throughout the state, operating out of the Orlando office where he serves as its Managing Partner.
He is married to the love of his life and has two children. He’s an avid guitarist, enjoys golfing, entertaining friends and family at home, as well as relaxing at Florida’s beautiful beaches.
